Running roof air off solar, a Honda EU1000, and batteries

My goal - be as quiet as possible when boondocking, while still having all the creature comforts. Even a 13.5k BTU roof air. But on really hot days, even my 600 watts of solar won't match the load. ...

Wasn't it Yamaha building generators with battery booster?
The same idea, but I bet your house battery is bigger than generator starting battery.
I measure my 15k Carrier to take 8.2 amps while running, so sounds like it might be pretty close to running on EU1000.
But I take it as playing just becouse you can.
Nobody is going to buy 1000 generator to run AC, while for slightly more dope he can buy 2000.
