OP, while I admit my initial reaction when I saw the original title was something like " Get the **** out of here!" I did learn a lot from your post and it inspired me to someday try something similar and for that I thank you.
In a way, I can compare your generator running the AC to the way my air compressor runs my impact gun busting off 8 stubborn lug nuts... I loosen 4 nuts, start setting up the jack and get a few pumps up, by then the compressor tank has recovered pressure and I proceed to loosen the other 4 nuts. Not continuous supply of 120 psi air, but enough for the job.
