Just thinking about the concept of cycling based on how I have my set up designed.
Depending on cycling requires some balancing and getting it all going before things get hot. Otherwise the AC won't cycle for quite a while cooling things down and the batteries will take a considerable hit. Have it get too hot and you may have to turn the stat up until it cycles or cycle it manually so that the batteries don't get too far behind. Heat also affects the output of the generator making the need for cycling even more important.
Out of curiosity what is the DB level of the Honda 1000 at full load? Would a 2000 at 50% load be quieter? For the added weight I would think the 2000 would handle the load with less wear and tear than the 1000 running balls to the wall.
