In your case propane is significantly more expensive than electric. Where I am, last tank I refilled was about $20 for 30 lbs. just about a wash between the two for me.

The math and logic are right on. You guess the efficiency of propane to be 75%. Most propane heating appliances are about 80%, but that's just a guess too. 75% is good enough for government work.
