Hi friends,
Thank you for taking the time to help me out with this problem.
I have a 2003 26ft STAR Travel trailer. I plug in the trailer to the house outlet to power it up - just to ensure everything is working smoothly. Are you plugging into a regular 110V outlet (15A)?
I go inside the trailer and see only the microwave is powered on.... nothing else, no lights, no heaters, nothing. All that stuff operates on 12V DC
Check the fuse box, everything seems fine. How did you check the DC Fuses...look at them or actually check with a meter that you had 12V DC power on both sides of fuse(s)??
Any ideas ?
Thank you again.
When plugged into 110V AC power source your converter supplies DC power AND charges battery.
So check that the AC circuit breaker feeding converter is ON (or that converter is plugged into an outlet that is working).
Then check that battery is good......that the battery disconnect switch is in proper position and that the large fuses on converter (Reverse Polarity Fuses) are not blown.
Lets us know what you find.
