And see if "Solar Installers" are exempt from BUREAU of AUTOMOTIVE regulations. My guess is they are not.
Nor are they exempt from the law that they obtain a business license.
Which of course reports automatically to the IRS and State Board or Equalization
All of the above puts a huge "crimp" in the idea of a "Freelance Solar Installer" of having a shop, storage or other means to conduct business.
Just the paperwork alone can cost three or four thousand dollars a year in permits. Depending on location.
