Safe-T-Alert Propane detector

Hello, have the detector and have a constant beeping. Have turned propane off at tanks. I have red and green lights flashing and believe detector has run it's natural life and needs to be replaced. Date on back of detector 2012. My question I can't open detector to remove red and black wires so are the detectors sold with wires already attached? Getting knowledge before I buy one. Thanks.

Yes, you'll have to cut the wires and attach to the replacement detector with wire nuts or some other attachment hardware.
