Does anyone know how to turn this fridge off...Got a new rig and it has this fridge in it. Its a "home" model type and does not have gas & electric. Only electric.The instruction book says on page 29, if the fridge is in cooling "off" mode, to turn it on press power freeze & freezer buttons at the same time. It says the off mode is for store display & not for customer use. I assume in off mode, the light works for store display but no compressor & fan. Then on page 30 a note says "If you plan to go away for a long time, empty fridge and turn it off.Its in a slide, so can not get to the back to unplug it. As soon as you plug in the 5er it starts the fridge to cool. If you do not plug in the rig, and just turn on the battery switch, it has an Inverter, so the fridge starts and runs on the battery till its dead. I just want to be able to plug in the rig to work on it or do a few things for a day or so and not have the fridge come on and run with nothing in it. I have a cooler for beer & beverages for my "work days"......

Not sure but does pressing power freeze and freezer buttons again turn it off?

I just looked through and searched the manual (PDF) for ours. I can't find a way to completely power it down without unplugging it or turning off the breaker. I would just flip the breaker for it.Rob

Likely it is on a unique breaker in the RV 120 VAC breaker box. Just turn off the breaker.

OK thanks all. I will try what opnspaces posted from the Samsung website. I tried flipping the circuit breaker to the fridge, but that did not work. Don't know how the wiring works, but the invertor sent power to the fridge and it kept working. Its wired someway that the fridge works while driving down the road. The tow vehicle keeps the battery charged and the invertor keeps power to the fridge. I assume to make that stop, I need flip the circuit breaker to the Invertor and then pull the 15 or 20 amp fuse to the invertor. To complicated. I just want to shut off the fridge and still have power in the rig...
