Samsung French Door Fridge

We use one plastic tray, like "rk911" posted, for our condiments, like salsa, mayo, mustard, pickle relish and any other small/tall items, like parmesan cheese. Everything else we just sit on the shelves. Larger items that are wider than they are tall, don't move around. We've not had any issues in 50K miles of residential refers.

If I'm driving, we have zero problems. OTOH, if DW is driving I open the door really slow...:E. Really, it depends on how you drive. Low and slow is good. Hard and fast, not so much. We still use the bungee on the door and it works well. Only on rare occasions have we had anything spill. Some things will tip over or move around, that's to be expected. Just remember when you get where you're going to open the door cautiously. Even the best 'solution' could result in tip overs with a hard stop. we learned a few lessons right off, and bloody mary mix smashes on that hard tile floor. After I ended up wearing green chili we tried these and happy now. For our Samsung we had to go to the 34" and not the 28"

If bins are used, perhaps use bins that have the slots all over them in order to maximise air flow. Helps with efficiency. Mats that cut off or hinder airflow are probably not a good idea. Some mats do have 50 percent openings though. Others are like 25 percent or less openings.

X2 on the rubber shelf liner. Also it's ugly but packing stuff neatly in small cardboard boxes works well.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm going with the curtain rod suggestion and just got it yesterday. Seems to work well so we shall see when we make out next trip next month.

We do the same. The lock installed at factory on fridge was a pita so I removed it and we just velcro, We have found many uses for the refrigerator double bars from our older fridge in previous motorhomes. On rare ocassions the micro has opened. It is a large convection/micro. A bit of tape has seemed to be enough to prevent opening. Anybody come up with a way to secure the micro door. It is against the slideout wall on one side and open area with cabinets on the other. Maybe some 3-m hooks and a bungee.

We put waffle rubber shelf liner on the shelves. When traveling we put spring tension curtain rods in front of shelves. We Velcro doors and drawer shut. Nothing moves. As others have said, our refer is pretty full, that in itself keeps items from moving.

We use the bottom half of the larger Ziplock containers and put everything in them on the shelves. They act as tray's with low sides. The containers can be arranged so they move very little, and if anything should fall over and spill, the spill would be contained. We've NEVER had anything move or fall over since we started using them.
