Seeking advice on 12v upgrade- Ch. 2: Bulk charger

I'd try to run both the converters if you can get them to cooperate and produce more current. You'll want to be sure that your generator can handle the loads of the converter and any other loads, of course. If you have the ability to parallel all the batteries together, you'll have more power available because of the Peukert effect, also.
