Sounds like the dealer is going to take care of the problem. One thought I had was that there are different kinds of Dicor sealing caulk. One is self-leveling and is for flat surfaces and there is one for horizontal surfaces and is not as self-leveling. Maybe someone grabbed the wrong tube at the factory. I know I almost did that when buying some last year for touch-up.
