Shifting from Park in a Class A, Chevy chassis

I have had a problem at times (especially when it is hot outside) shifting from Park to Drive.

I have had a shifter relay replaced and it worked fine for about six months, then in hot weather, it started again. I have had the advice to spray the shifting mechanisms that are visable on the steering column and that also seems to help. Any input on solving this would be helpful.
