Simple 110V-12V car battery charger?
I'm exhausted and depressed after reading reviews on Amazon. "Multistage" chargers that have only 2 stages (sometimes 1). Bulk stage running at 16-17V 'cause some idiot imbedded a "desulfation" mode...

I tried both Low Price First and Higher Rated First. What I found was that models over $50 differ from models under $50 only in higher current and added voltmeter. Shoo-Maker - Mex, that was a good one :) - is often getting +4 stars, but I think they are so-so.
Clueless Amazon customers are the reason for high ratings - all they know is that it's "charging". When and if it doesn't work, they go and buy another battery - hey, battery comes already charged from the store, don't need no charger!
