Simple 110V-12V car battery charger?
I'm exhausted and depressed after reading reviews on Amazon. "Multistage" chargers that have only 2 stages (sometimes 1). Bulk stage running at 16-17V 'cause some idiot imbedded a "desulfation" mode...

RJ, I've initially rejected models like the one in your link, due to 1.5A current. It will take me 20-30 hours to recharge the battery after 2 months absence (I can't leave it on maintainer unfortunately). Maybe will reconsider, since this one at least supplies a proper voltage.
What particular "battery tender" with 14.8V and temp comp did you mean?
Pnichols - thanks for pointing out Xantrex. Wow. Real 3-stage, with absorption. Illiterate sellers blurb calling charger a "multistage" only because it has 2/6/10 Amps mode selection is giving me a headache.
