Simple 110V-12V car battery charger?
I'm exhausted and depressed after reading reviews on Amazon. "Multistage" chargers that have only 2 stages (sometimes 1). Bulk stage running at 16-17V 'cause some idiot imbedded a "desulfation" mode...

Trouble is those vendors know EXACTLY what they are selling and EXACTLY how they are descibing it. I keep my fangs sharp when they waste my time.
Ever think about putting a wind up timer on a Megawatt. The timer switches a pot. When the timer is actvated it enables a relay. The relay shunts the voltage through the resistor. Set the pot at whatever voltage you want. When the timer runs down the Mega defaults down to 13.4 or whatever voltage you wish and it stays there. A six-hour windup intermatic timer works great for this. The timer can be set fro 0-6 hours.
