Maybe not, with heat reflected back to atmosphere. Warm weather begins with warm air. Effect of large-scale solar farms on climate has not been studied well yet. Water circulation from earth to air and back to earth is also affected, and so is plant growth. If anything, the total effect of shading will not be positive. Atmosphere pollution is different thing though.
It's like crutches - you lose one leg, get crutches, more stress on the rest of the body, can't walk too far and easy to fall and break bones. Should've taken care of environment earlier. Give people more condoms.
