I've had three or four of them apart for service and own one myself
They are very good if not the best small inverter available
However like most other electronics they are made in China / Taiwan and suffer for poor quality control. I have seen the heat sinks for the FETs not placed properly thus not functional resulting in smoke release. Since there is no fan it's very important to keep them in a "cool" environment and properly heat sunk when mounted. Their idle current is VERY low when using the remote on/off function however you still require an in-line DC fuse / switch.
