To answer correctly, we need to know what kind of slide mechanism is on your rv. Schwintek?, Power Gear?, etc... But, most rv places will use a dry lubricant to lube the actual slide mechanicals. (like a silicone spray) Now to lube and maintain your slide out SEALS.. I have always used the slide out lube in a can by Protect All, that comes out as a foam, and is rubbed into the rubber seal. I have seen that video from the RV geeks too... But i just can't see how a dry powder will make the actual rubber seal stay supple... It may help make the rubber slippery and not drag on the wall of the slideout... But i can use a wax for that, and wax the wall of the slideout... (which i do anyways)
