Slide motor issues

Question

Have 2007 Artic Fox %vr  m27-5Bedroom slide powered by Power Gear. Motor and shaft all turn fine. AF tech dept sez it must be in the mechanism. He thinks maybe a Shear pin. I can't find any where to put a shear pin except in the one end of the turning rod which I have done . All other holes have pins in them. Still no resolve.The gear mech is very simple one track gear that the motor is suppose to turn but the motor will run fine in either direction. Hopefully someone knows more than what I have discovered.

A shear bolt doesn't have to fall out when it shears. Look close, the bolt may still be in the hole.

If I could I would. I can only see a small part of the area where it is missing the shear pin. I do believe I have a part of the pin and the other maybe in the hole still. But I don't think so from other evidence. Mainly right now I need to get to that gear mechanism where the shear pin would be.
