Slideout fails to retract, turn motor and it starts.

I agree with donn0128. Likely a dead spot. Had an electric fuel pump like that one time. Would not run. Pulled it out and jumpered across battery to test and it ran. Put it back in and would not run. Pulled it and jumpered it again and it ran. Put it back in and no go. Lots of hair pulling at that point. Pulled again, jumpered it, and IT DID NOT RUN. Ah hah!! Turned the shaft a little and it ran. Dead spot. New fuel pump.
