OK one more idea at risk of being laughed at. ;)
You could get three of those LARGE 300w incandescent bulbs. They have a larger than normal base, thicker than usual glass and one would melt down a easy bake oven. Put those in the bottom of a old grill, a rack with rock above them and I bet you can cook your 10 minute steaks.
