Solar as battery maintenance during storage - opinions

On a 225Ah string, 1% per day, for 21 days, is only 47Ah; about 20% dod. Doing an 80-100% charge with a converter at 14.4v boost, then 13.6v normal, will only take 8-14 hours of gen run time; probably no more than the OP is use to doing on a daily basis, when dry camping. ;)
