I don't use the genny in conjunction with the converter. The converter is a Magnetek & useless. I have a volt meter in the coach & when it hits 12.2, I use the genny with a portable smart charger & generally 3-4 hrs a day while dry camping. They are brought back to 100% charge after I get home.
