Well in honosty, you could invest in a simple battery disconnect switch. On a TT they work great. I mean they do the same thing as taking off one lead. They dont "trickle charge", but you dont need it to on a TT. If you have your TT plugged in to your truck, that will provide enough power to lower/raise the electric tongue jack, or interior lights. When you reach destination (The OP) will plug in to shore power/generator, that provides all power then.
