Wintersun,
Your SB3024 may be different than mine or you are using heavier wire than me. I am using 4ga wire and it fits the controller terminal connections fine. It was snug but was not a problem. It has been a good unit for the last 5 years and I abuse it sometimes seeing 42-43a on the remote meter.

The current 3024 box has a opening at the top that is less than an inch from being over the terminals for the panel feeds. I tried to make the required 90 degree bend in less than 3/4" with 4ga wire and it was not possible. I pulled out the wires from the C-box and replaced them with 9ga ones and even they were right at the edge of making the bend and going into the terminals. I used 4ga wires from the batteries and these could come in from the bottom and into the terminals.
What is dumb is having the terminals require wires come in from the left but having the openings at the top and bottom of this small box. I would be tempted to cut the side of the top cover panel and drill two 3/4" access holes in the side piece so the cables could go straight into the box without the 90 degree turns.
Not surprised that Blue Sky did this as their boxes are not designed for RV use but for commercial use where the voltages are much higher and smaller 12ga wiring is the norm. It threw me at first when I saw the Ground lug inside the 3024. It is there to conform with NEC requirements for structures and is irrelevant with a RV installation, though this is not mentioned in the Blue Sky documentation.
