I'll have to decide whether it is better to leave the controller working or to power the DC of the inverter with its switch in the off position. The capacitors do charge when dc power is applied to them.
Is there some easy way to wire in a normally closed timer switch that turns off when you set it, but stays connected if you don't remember to?
