I did experience an 11% increase when I switched from a Morningstar SS-10 PWM to a Morningstar 15L MPPT. Technically, my two 85W, 12V, 5.12 Isc panels, exceeded the 10A rating of the SS-10. I did post this quite some time ago. This was in the middle of Summer in Oklahoma heat when you don't expect MPPT to outperform PWM. And yes, those were expensive Amps.
With MPPT, you do get flexibility when selecting solar panels. You can buy a single 24V panel for less than two 12V panels. With the 15L MPPT, I am better able to add or replace panels.
Sure, PWM is cheaper, but IMHO, you might be favoring the V while sacrificing the R in RV.
