There were a lot of posts that violated the “No politics” policy. Hopefully that can be avoided this time. It might help to know that the prior administration tried to tariff solar panels as well.
The article above is pretty good. I still find it ironic that the Chinese are the majority stakeholders in Suniva, one of the companies pushing for the tariffs.
This will cost jobs, primarily of those who install the panels.
