There is huge momentum with alternative energy. The Europeans grasped the use and outcome early. Their lack of oil and coal production helped the cause. When I was shopping panels for my TT, I decided to buy American, if possible. I bought a panel made in NJ but the parent company was Italian. That plant has since, been shuttered, and the parent company may have folded.

Thanks to Mex about the possible increases. For the RV'er it may not make much difference (other than a possible increase in durability of panels). To a guy filling his S&B roof or a solar farm, it may make costs increase substantially.
