It's a shame we did not get ahead of the curve on wind and solar power generation a decade ago. US companies could own all the intellectual property rights and control the market.
The top 10 solar panel manufacturers are all in Asia. GE Wind is tied for 2nd place with a Chinese wind turbine manufacturer. A Denmark company is #1.
Hopefully this will make domestic production more competitive.
the tarrif's are just another way to discourage deployment in alternative energy in the U.S. we ALL know COAL is way to go!!! (NOT) gotta put those coal miner back work mining coal rather than having them learn new skills that are in need today.
