Thank you folks, yeah I'm not sure I need the 1000 watt inverter/charger. The dealer did not push that; I was thinking maybe I should go larger than current needs in case I wanted more power later.
What is a quality 300 watt inverter?
Morningstar 300W pure sine wave inverter is I believe, the best quality 300W out there, and has surge capability to 600W, so will even run my laser printer! It has no cooling fan, so has very low idle draw, and you can hook up a remote on/off switch (any switch will do and you can use very thin gauge wire). It will run anything in my TT except the microwave and the AC, and for those I would switch to generator anyway. I have mine wired up such that I just turn of the converter, then just plug my RV power cord into a 30A RV outlet wired to the output of the inverter.
