Mike - in planning a solar install, first thing is to make sure that chosen panels will fit on the roof.
Cut 2 pieces of cardboard to the size of those 140W 12V panels from Solar Blvd, or whatever panels you choose. Throw it on the roof and see if it fits and there is at least 12" (preferably 18") from tall structures like airconditioner, and 8"-10" from lower things like vents.
