Yes Almot, that is what I'm thinking except I may get the Xantrex C35 for the additional $200.
There is no benefit in choosing 35A controller over 20A model, when your panels are only capable of 18A. The only thing that is better with C35 is a remote temperature sensor (in Eco the temp sensor is inside the controller). If your batteries and controller are in the same space, you don't need a remote sensor.
I like C35, it's a good old US or German brand while Eco is new, domestic Chinese brand, but other than that, I don't see how C35 is better.
The above list of parts should be corrected: MC4 cable you need #8 gauge, as mentioned before, from another store. 80ft should suffice. Measure approximate one-way run from panels to controller and multiply by 2, ex. if there is 40ft distance to controller, buy 80ft cable.
