Solar voltage help...
I just connected my solar kit (160w cmp12 controller)and the voltage while connected to the rv batteries reads 16.55v. Is this normal or too high? Sorry but im new to this.

- They said they forgot to mail it. Should be here tomorrow.
- It is a small company. Give it some time and I think they will make good on the promises.
They seemed to be very helpful and resposive to me but I was not making warranty claims either.
I do think SB could include a better controller in the kit even for a few $$ more. - It is a week later. My controller was suppose to be here last Saturday or Monday but guess what...Nothing. They don't return emails. When I call them they say they will call back with details...and guess what? No call back. At this point, I regret doing business with this company.

OCV as in the voltage from just the panels? 21.xxV roughly. How fast does the it rise: In full sun not real sure but around 30sec to a minute. It actually will try to rise over 16.55 but I disconnect it. Voltage is measured at battery posts. - Disconnected how fast does the voltage slump to 12.7 once again?
- You are of course verifying the 16.55 volts at the battery posts, right?
- And the batteries are proven GOOD?
