I pull the fuse when I leave it at my storage place. I didn't always do this. I have it plugged in when in my driveway and also at a campsite. I have only camped at places that have electricity. I assume the converter shuts off when the battery is fully charged?? Northstars do not come with a battery disconnect. I believe that is standard on a lot of truck camper brands.
