Splendide combo not drying

Question

We have a Spledide 6100 combo and have been using it without trouble for 11 years. Typically takes at least two hours to dry. Used it for the first time this season yesterday. Ran through two drying cycles and clothes still wet enough to wring water out. Thought I might have rehoused cold and hot water backwards but that wasn't it. Anybody ever had this happen to them and know what is wrong? Thanks for any assistance.

Are they spinning properly?Is water pumping out?Is the vent plugged with lint?

Our 2100xc clogged with lint and slowed the drying process.  One other clue was very low airflow coming from the outside vent.  Pulled the machine out of the cabinet and took it apart to find the clog and remove it.  Works great again.

Were the clothes hot/very warm when you took them out? If not your heating element is probably shot.

Drums are spinning. It is draining water out. Vent had some lint but 80% clear. I have cleaned it completely out. Clothes not warm.
