Spraying Seafoam directly into Honda 2000 Carb.

I have a couple of Honda 2000's. One is surging at idle. Can I safely, spray Seafoam directly into the carb? If ok, how much? A quick shot? Wait a few seconds and then another quick shot? For sev...

You can do that but all it will do is clean the throttle plates as it is not going into the jets.
