Too Much Seafoam?

I put two containers of Seafoam into my gas tank before storing it for the winter.

I had to start it yesterday and found that the engine was sputtering.

Could that be too much seafoam causing the problem? If so, any suggestions as to how to correct it.

    Did you start and run the engine after you added the Seafoam?
    How full is the fuel tank?

    I would add fresh fuel if it's not full.

    I doubt it, I've loaded up fuel like that before for both my car and gen and never had a problem.

    Yes, I had a problem. Would help if you posted type of engine and miles before I explained what I went thru.

    I load up Seafoam in tractors, mowers etc and they tend to sputter a bit when starting - that doesn't last and has never seemed to hurt anything. One can of Seafoam is suppose to treat 16 gallons so I doubt two can's would "overload" any MH.

    Seafoam should be allowed to thoroughly mix with fuel and run the engine to insure it gets to the carb and then you should be OK. I don't think you added too much Seafoam.

    My motor home is on a Chevrolet Chassis 6.0 Engine. Total miles on the engine is about 50K.

    Sorry I forgot the other question.

    I started the motor home and drove about 20 minutes to the storage space. So it should have had enough time to mix with the gasoline.

    Tank should be near full.
