Spraying Seafoam directly into Honda 2000 Carb.

I have a couple of Honda 2000's. One is surging at idle. Can I safely, spray Seafoam directly into the carb? If ok, how much? A quick shot? Wait a few seconds and then another quick shot? For sev...

I don't think it will do much good unless you can force it through the jet. To do that you need to remove the bowl and blow cleaner upward through the passages.
