So the latest bunch of ideas is that the OP should just wear long pants instead of shorts, so he will not feel a thing! Or add some more upholstery to the dinette seat, so he can keep wearing shorts.

I wonder what is under that dinette seat. In our MH, one of them has the whole power centre/converter set up with a battery box too! :)

(The other seat across the table has the fresh water tank under it)
