I can contact one end of a 1.5 volt D cell then press and slide the other end across the moist skin of my inner forearm and feel it. It's slight and not a tingle but an extremely minor burning sensation. A friend bet me a Mama Burger at an A&W drive in around 1963 and I lost. A 9-volt will get your attention fast.
