Sorry, I am neither an electrician nor an engineer. I picked up on electronics via the ARRL Handbook. I was at the point where I needed help in explaining something that I knew little about.

So, in retrospect I should have said: "It is time for the electricians OR the engineers to chime in...." and the offer still stands. :)
