"Stuck" in Ohio - Workhorse W22 stalls going into gear

Short summary: Our MH is on a Workhorse W22 chassis. It stalls going into gear but engine idles and runs fine. After some time it will stay in D without stalling. Looking to get to a repair shop on...

i'd be looking more at the tranny, torque converter is locked up, usually means needs a torque converter, but we will leave it to the experts
