"Stuck" in Ohio - Workhorse W22 stalls going into gear

Short summary: Our MH is on a Workhorse W22 chassis. It stalls going into gear but engine idles and runs fine. After some time it will stay in D without stalling. Looking to get to a repair shop on...

Sounds like the torque converter is locked. It may be able to get unlocked by unplugging the electrical connector.
