Surburban water heater wiring

Replacing current propane water heater with new SW6DE water heater. The original water heater that came with the motorhome was also a SW6DE. The wIres for the 12 volt system are red/blue/green. The wires that are in the motorhometo are red/white/blue. Can any one tell me what color wire goes to what color wire.

    Suburban wiring is standard
    Red is 12V DC + to set of t-stats
    Blue is 12V DC + from circuit board back to fault light
    Green is Ground

    Your MH

    Red should be 12V DC +
    White is probably 12V DC - (ground)
    Blue probably goes to fault light


    Simply pull On/Off switch & light out to check wiring on them.

    You may have to do some testing with a volt/ohm meter. The wiring of the Suburban WH should be standard. But the wiring of your RV may have been what the techs had available on that day.
