I am scratching my head wondering why you would need such a setup on an RV but whatever floats your boat.
You might not want to tow in the rain as those are "water resistant", not "waterproof". I seem to remember a recommendation to install under an overhang in the instructions for the one I have on my back garage. Towing it down the highway at 70 mph in the rain may be a good way to trash a perfectly good $250.00 Floodlight Cam.
