It’s not because the police does not care. Breaking into cars and auto theft are small potatoes to take any real manpower. I live in a city that has on average 2 shootings a day and a murder every other day. An aggravated assault every 2 hours and 4 armed robberies a day. Add all the other discontent into the mix and they are a little short. I was the Police for over 30 years. If we happened to find someone with stolen property and such, the video could be used at trial but looking for the neighborhood tush-hog is a never ending story.
