I'd be adding a fan to cool the top fins on the back of the fridge and/or adding a baffle to help remove heat via convection (assisted by the fan when hot).
Compact 3 way fridges need to be turned down (or is that up) in the eve, no thermostat on propane!
The cooling fan can be thermostatically controlled.

150 watts would be way too much for me in a van!
