The battery that came with my travel trailer THE battery?

I've learned quite a bit about battery maintenance recently...at the expense of my Exide 24MDP. It's time to replace it. In fact, my plan is to use 2 batteries in parallel to help in our dry camping...

Can you get more AH's from 2-6v or 2-12V?
Thought you could get more AH's from 2-6V vs 1-12V.

OP is thinking about installing 2nd 12V
