Back around the late 80s maybe early 90s A friend of mine had moved to Pascagoula, Mississippi, to work for Ingalls Shipbuilding. They got a contract to build Corvette Naval vessels for the Israeli Navy. He told me the tech manuals for maintaining the ship's equipment were written in English and translated by computer into Hebrew. He also told me they hired rabbis to proofread the Hebrew and make Corrections.
Apparently the Chinese aren't using proofreaders or at least not using good ones.
